| A Professional “Hands
on” HIV Disease Management Training for Physicians |
BACKGROUND:
Y R Gaitonde Center for AIDS
Research and Education (YRG CARE), Chennai in partnership
with The Fenway Institute
of Fenway Community Health, Boston, USA invites applications
from interested/dedicated physicians in Southern India for
a fellowship in HIV medicine program organized with support
from The Pfizer Foundation.
Program will be conducted at YRG CARE, which offers medical
and psychosocial care for over 10,000 persons living with
HIV. OBJECTIVES:
The broad objective of this training program is Continuing
Medical Education (CME) and formal training, which is essential
to stay up-to-date on clinical management of HIV disease.
The fellowship includes an ongoing, online strengthening of
the technical and research capabilities of the fellows as
the management of HIV disease is changing at a rapid pace.
DURATION:
Onsite Training:
3 months hands on training at the YRG CARE facilities in Chennai
and Nellore with a comprehensive scholarship. Thesis
Submission:
Additional 3 months will be allowed after completion of the
hands on training to submit their thesis. |
