(a time for heroes):		  

Gere visited YRG CARE once again in 2005 and invited Dr. Suniti to be a part of the Heroes project by way of providing her insights and the organizations experience in managing HIV/AIDS in India. Details of the heroes project can be viewed at www.heroesprojectindia.org .

The new nurses station was also inaugurated by Richard Gere during this visit.

Heroes project is an initiative steered by Richard Gere and Parmeshwar Godrej with support from the Melinda and Gates foundation and the Kaisler family foundation. The project address the many challenges of HIV/AIDS in India.
